A Tribute to a Bygone Arizona Amusement Park

Legend City opened its doors to the world for the first time on June 29, 1963. By 1:00 PM, 4,100 visitors had passed through the gates. Founder Louis Crandall commented, "Today you see the first stage of development. Legend City will never be completed. Every year something will be added to it."
