Barber and customer

The revised barbershop scenario. This version was called "Black Bart's," owing to the giant mural on the back wall which depicted Black Bart in the barber's chair. To the extreme left is an advertisement for bathing suits made in Boston. In this photo, the results of vandalism are most obvious. The figures are now wearing clothing and shoes to cover the broken and missing pieces of skeletons. Now we can more clearly see the razor in the barber's hand, and the gun in the lap of the customer. The barber is sporting a mustache, and the customer is now badly in need of a shave and a haircut. That this scene is just inside one of the doors off the graveyard is revealed by the bright splash of sunlight across the bottom of the photo. Click on the two figures for a closer view.
