Parlor scene

By '72, the "Psycho" scene had been extensively upgraded. An entirely new background has been created and lit, and the old lady is no longer a skeleton, but a female mannequin-- and still wearing Dick Kraus' mother's blue dress! The antique cabinet with china pieces would be a real collectors find these days. Also, in front of the cabinet, partially obscured by the security screen, sits a small dog holding a bare bone in his teeth. His empty bowl on the floor suggests he hasn't eaten in a while, but he is nonetheless happy, as Mr. Kraus has animated his tail to wag playfully as the passengers ride by. There is a newly added light fixture (center top of image), and behind it an antique advertising poster. The security screen has been given some shingles on the upper portion and on the uprights, and together with the lower railing, creates the feel of a screened-in porch.
